Why are the results of these studies so different from each other?

The answer is quite clear. To date, there is no scientific evidence to support the claim that cannabis improves or affects sexual activity in humans. It can modify the sexual experience, but it cannot be scientifically determined whether this is positive or negative. What can be inferred is that the relationship between cannabis and sex depends greatly on the final consumer.

In many cases, a regular cannabis user could take advantage of this substance to have better sexual experiences, enjoying the relaxing effects of THC. For example, reducing anxiety to improve sexual performance and even to lengthen the duration of the encounter are some of the good causes. But it should also be taken into account that an occasional cannabis user could be affected by his or her mood.

It is also interesting to note that in many studies there is a proportion of respondents who state that cannabis use does not affect sexual activity in any way, either positively or negatively. So the best summary that can be made about the use of cannabis during sex is: to each his own. If you like it, enjoy it, and if it affects you, don’t force yourself!
