Cannabis concentrates can have different percentages of THC and CBD. It is essential to know these values to understand the effects each of these products can have.
In this case, preparation and ingestion vary depending on the type of concentrate selected. These concentrates can be obtained without solvents or by using solvents such as butane, alcohol, propane and carbon dioxide.
By means of this mechanism, the aim is to extract the active principles of cannabis and eliminate, to a large extent, the plant remains.
It is important to know that concentrates cannot be smoked directly. Different types of vaporisers or pipes are used that allow the consumer to inhale the cannabinoids safely.
What are the most popular solvent-free concentrates?
Cannabis concentrates vary according to the proportion of THC and CBD found and their preparation mechanism. In the case of concentrates that are produced without solvents, we find the most popular ones such as hashish, the cannabis concentrate par excellence.
There is also ‘rosin hash’, a hashish with a high THC content, obtained by heating and pressing the resinous parts of the cannabis plant.
Another concentrate is ‘bubble hash’ which is made using ice-cold water to mix and filter the cannabis buds. When smoked, it bubbles with every puff.

The most popular of these extracts are known as PHO (Propane Hash Oil) and BHO (Butane Hash Oil)
