To reach that stage, you must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid identity document and have an invitation or a reference from another member. A cannabis social club is neither a bar nor a shop. It is a not-for-profit association of adults who share a crop and consume it in a private space. It operates within a legal framework, without its own specific state legislation, and in Barcelona its location is regulated by a municipal town planning scheme.
Getting to the club
The club is right in the heart of 22@, the Poblenou area where old industrial warehouses, offices and homes stand side by side. The most practical way to get here is by public transport, which is what we recommend.
- Metro Line 4: Llacuna, Poblenou or Bogatell.
- Metro Line 1: Glòries or Marina.
- On foot: from the Rambla del Poblenou or from the beach area, wandering through the neighbourhood’s streets.

The door opens onto the street, but the club isn’t an open space. When you arrive, you identify yourself as a member and the staff check that you’re registered. It’s a quick process, but we don’t let anyone skip it: it’s what ensures that only adult members are allowed inside.
If you come with someone who is not yet a member, that person will have to go through the membership application process from the start, providing their ID and meeting the minimum age requirement. There are no one-day tickets or guest passes for consuming drinks.
Inside: the atmosphere
What most people are looking for when they join is peace of mind. Outside, on the street or on the beach, using drugs carries a fine of between 601 and 30,000 euros under Organic Law 4/2015. Inside the club, drug use remains within the private sphere of the association.
On any given day, it feels more like a communal living room than a nightlife venue. Some people pop in after work from an office in the 22@ district, others meet up with fellow members for a chat, and others drop in for a while in the middle of the afternoon. At the counter, each member collects their share of the communal harvest and consumes it on the premises; nothing leaves the premises.

Every week we organise events for our members. They’re a way of getting to know other members, sharing interests and bringing a bit more life to the club than just the usual visit. These events are for members only. They are not open to the public, nor are they a way of joining the club without going through the admission process.

Getting out and about and mingling with the neighbourhood
Poblenou is not just a neighbourhood people pass through: people live here, people work here, and there are residents who have lived on the same streets for decades. Whether a club runs smoothly also depends on how people leave it. That is why we ask our members:
- Please do not consume food or drink at the entrance or on the pavement on Pujades Street when leaving.
- Do not gather in small groups or raise your voice in the street, especially at night.
- Come back by tube or on foot – never drive after drinking.
- Do not carry cannabis with you when you leave: the agreement is to consume it on the premises.
