It\u2019s ideal for a stroll and a drink away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"El_pasado_industrial_y_el_22\"><\/span>The industrial past and the 22@<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Poblenou was known as the \u00abCatalan Manchester\u00bb because of its concentration of factories. You can still see brick chimneys and industrial buildings that have been converted into offices, studios and cultural spaces within the technology district <strong>22@<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Cultura_Can_Framis_y_el_Cementiri\"><\/span>Culture: Can Framis and the Cementiri<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Can Framis Museum:<\/strong> Contemporary Catalan art in a converted old factory.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Poblenou Cemetery:<\/strong> one of the city\u2019s oldest cemeteries, featuring mausoleums and sculptures. The most famous is <em>The Kiss of Death<\/em> (The Kiss of Death).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Parques_y_diseno\"><\/span>Parks and design<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Poblenou Centre Park:<\/strong> a contemporary park with living walls and shaded areas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gl\u00f2ries:<\/strong> The Torre Gl\u00f2ries and the Museu del Disseny are just a short walk away.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Las_playas\"><\/span>The beaches<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Poblenou has direct access to some of Barcelona\u2019s quietest beaches, such as <strong>Bogatell<\/strong> y <strong>Mar Bella<\/strong>. There are also several bus and tram routes along the Diagonal.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Recuerda\"><\/span>Remember<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Consuming cannabis in the street or on the beach is a criminal offence.
